NWMA winners

At the recent Northwest Mining Association conference held here, Amax Gold was the overall winner in the financial report competition.

American Barrick Resources was honored for best annual report, Dickenson Mines for best quarterly report, and Crown Butte Resources for best exploration and development company report.

Crown Butte also won a coveted award from the U.S. Forest Service for its environmentally sensitive approach to the New World project in Montana. Canadian hockey team scored a rousing victory over the U.S. team.
