Nuinsco, Cambior cancel agreement

Quebec-based Cambior (CBJ-T) has left Nuinsco Resources (NWI-T) alone at the Cameron Lake gold project in northwestern Ontario.

The companies agreed that by forfeiting its option, Cambior is not accountable for all of the $822,400 in expenditures it incurred in drilling 13 holes.

Nuinsco President Douglas Hume says Cambior’s departure means that Nuinsco now has greater flexibility in the event of a future production decision at Cameron Lake and at Nuinsco’s nearby Rainy River property.
