Encouraging gold values have been obtained from the Exxeter property in Vauquelin Twp., southeast of Val d’Or, Que., which confirm the extension of the mineralized Zone 1 at depth, Norwood Exploration and Oz Exploration report.
Results from hole 459-41-87 intersected 0.32 oz gold per ton across 14.3 ft, while hole 459-32-87 yielded 0.12 oz across 8.7 ft.
The companies may earn a combined 50% interest in the property from Exxeter Resources by spending $1 million on exploration work before February, 1989.
