Northern women subject of book

A writer in Victoria, B.C., is planning a book about women who have lived in Canada’s North.

“There are many women I have encountered who have unusual and interesting stories and experiences to tell about life in the North,” says Toni Graeme. “A host of great books has been written by and about men and their adventures in the North, but it’s rare to find a book by or about women and I want to record some of their adventures or misadventures.”

Graeme, a former resident of the Yukon and the Northwest Territories, can be contacted at Suite 414, 777 Cook St., Victoria, B.C. V8V 3Y9.
