Northern Miner names new Western Editor

Danielson, a mining journalist for the past five years, was managing editor for a mining journal prior to joining The Northern Miner’s Vancouver bureau in August, 1988. She has been involved in the publishing industry since 1981.

“As our representative in Vancouver, Vivian will be covering a lot of ground for us,” said Jim Borland, editor of The Northern Miner. “She has already been the first journalist to visit what’s probably the hottest exploration play in the country right now, the Eskay Creek project in northwestern B.C.”

The Northern Miner is the journal of record for Canada’s mining industry. Now in its 75th year of publication, it is published each week in Toronto. Vivian Danielson
