The showing is hosted in an assemblage of paragneissic rocks 6 km south of the Nuinsco Resources nickel discovery. The discovery consists of a 25-metre-wide zone of rusty, altered and deformed rock carrying 3-5% sulphides. The best assays from three grab samples returned 1.77% copper and 7.17% zinc with low values in gold and nickel.
Noront is planning a program of trenching and sampling.
