Normetal completes six holes at Bassignac

A 6-hole drill program has been completed by Normetal Mining Exploration (ME) at its Bassignac property in Destor Twp., in northwestern Quebec.

Four holes intercepted gold values, the company reports. Among the better results: Hole Width Grade (ft) (oz/t) DE-87-2 5.41 0.63

7.31 0.08 DE-87-3 2.95 0.06 DE-87-6 16.24 0.03 DE-87-1 3.31 0.02

The gold intercepts in DE-87-2 are more than 65 ft apart. Hole DE-87-3 is 4,000 ft north of DE-87-2, and DE-87-1 is located 2,700 ft northwest of DE-87-2.

In other news, Normetal has acquired 21 claims in Baby Twp., in northwestern Quebec for $2,500. The company also issued 1,500 shares to the vendor. The property is subject to a 1% net smelter return royalty.
