Normabec eyes Mina Eureka

Junior Normabec Mining Resources (NMB-M) plans to acquire the Mina Eureka gold property in Jujuy province, Argentina.

For its interest in the 14,000-ha property, Normabec must spend US$2 million in exploration over two years, and pay US$500,000. A 1% net smelter royalty must also be paid by the company.

Operations at Mina Eureka were suspended in 1986 owing to flooding.

Gold mineralization occurs in hydrothermally-enriched placer deposits hosted within a conglomerate unit.
