Noranda to drill Aurizon prospect

In Quebec’s Louvicourt Twp., Noranda Exploration will drill-test a base metal prospect belonging to Aurizon Mines (TSE).

The 900-metre program is part of a program which will see Noranda spend $2.4 million during a 5-year period to earn a half interest in the southern portion of the property.

The Aurizon property is west of Aur Resources’ Louvicourt deposit and to the east of the Manitou Barvue deposit.

One new hole will be drilled, to a depth of 500 metres. And a hole (CC 89-07) previously drilled in 1989 will be extended to 900 metres.
