Drilling is expected to commence on the Woolgar copper property in the Northwest Territories in early August, reports Rhonda Mining (ASE).
Noranda (TSE), as owner and operator of the 37,375-acre property, has designed a 2,000-metre drill program to test the main structure 200 metres below a 1,000-metre-long zone of continuous copper mineralization exposed at surface.
Rhonda, can earn a 50% interest by spending $3 million over a 3-year period. The 1992 program will cost an estimated $650,000.
