Noranda drills copper-gold bet

Drill results were released by Yellowjack Resources (VSE) from a recent drilling program carried out by a unit of Noranda (TSE) on the Katie porphyry copper-gold prospect near Salmo, B.C. Four anomalous targets were drill tested in a 7-hole program. The best results include: 530 ft. grading 0.15% copper and 0.005 oz. gold from 50-580 ft; 1,084 ft. of 0.13% copper and 0.003 oz. gold from 29-1,113 ft; and 556 ft. of 0.17% copper and 0.005 oz. gold from 313-869 ft.

Noranda made its 1990 cash option payment, and Yellowjack reports that further drilling is planned for 1991.
