Noble Peak Resources (NPK-A) has begun exploring its holdings in the Barberton greenstone belt in South Africa.
The gold project includes 132 sq. km of exploration lands and 70 sq. km under option. The project area comprises numerous old mine workings, including the Worcester mine, which closed in 1921 after producing 200,000 oz. gold.
The first phase, to be completed by July, involves surface sampling, to be followed by airborne geophysics.
