An exploration agreement on the LeMare property owned by Stow Resources (VSE) was recently signed by Minnova (TSE).
Minnova can earn a 60% interest in the property by spending a total of $1.5 million by Mar. 1, 1995 with a $400,000 commitment for this year. The property is located on northern Vancouver Island, about 32 km west of BHP-Utah’s Island Copper mine.
Stow reports the property contains mineralization, alteration and geochemical signatures indicative of porphyry copper-gold molybdenum deposits and Minnova is now in the process of completing an airborne magnetic, EM and radiometric survey.
Results from the program are expected in early May, at which time drill targets will be identified for a 3,000-metre program in August.
