Night Hawk Lake plans set

The four companies that constitute the Night Hawk Lake joint venture have approved a $410,000 program of downhole and ground geophysics, data interpretation and drilling. The 637-claim property is 38 km east of Timmins, Ont.

Recently, a hole drilled on the Cross Lake zone intersected 13.5 metres of 1% copper, including 7.5 metres of 1.5%, in a chlorite-chert horizon interpreted as an exhalative. Several metres below that mineralized intersection was another, grading 2.2% zinc over 1.5 metres.

Other recent holes, drilled on the Sheraton Lake and Bond Twp. zones, hit locally anomalous base metal values. The joint venture consists of operator Golden Knight Resources (GKR-T) (60%), Cross Lake Minerals (CRN-V) (16%), East West Resource (EWR-V) (16%) and Canadian Golden Dragon Resources (CGG-V) (8%).
