Junior Societe d’exploration miniere Vior (ME) can earn a half interest in the Clairy Twp., Que., property of Soquem.
Soquem, the Quebec Crown exploration company, cut a 0.3-metre intersection in 1988 grading 7.56% zinc, 2.2% copper and 306 parts per billion gold, Vior said.
The agreement, which has yet to be approved by regulators, requires Vior spend $450,000 on exploration during the next three years.
Meanwhile, Vior raised $220,000 through a private placement involving flow-through shares. Ten subscribers paid 38 cents per share. Most of the funding is being spent on winter drilling at Vior’s Douay gold property.
