An agreement between TVX Gold (TSE) and Teck (TSE), whereby Teck will sell its 40% interest in a group of claims known as the Domex Block for US$4.62 million to the Casa Berardi joint venture, has been reached.
The joint venture, which controls the Casa Berardi gold mine near La Sarre, Que., is 60% owned by TVX and 40% by Golden Knight Resources (TSE). TVX is the operator of the project. Golden Knight is controlled by Teck. The joint venture already owns the other 60% of the Domex Block, which hosts part of the Principale zone currently being mined.
