A wholly owned Tanzanian subsidiary of Trillion Resources (TSE), Silobela Resources, has been granted a licence to explore for gold in northwestern Tanzania.
The 1213-sq.-km concession is in the Sekenke-Iramba greenstone belt and gold mineralization appears to be controlled by shear zones in volcanics. Small-scale mining by local artisans is under way on pre-existing claims within the concession.
Trillion hopes to begin a field program on the permit area in January, 1994.
