Mississauga mining contractor Extender Minerals has been awarded the bulk-sampling contract for Spirit Lake Explorations’ (ME) Edwards gold property near Wawa, Ont. The first phase of the 2-phase program, collaring a portal and driving a ramp, will commence immediately. Phase two, which involves the actual sampling, will be carried out next spring.
The cost of the program is estimated to be $500,000. Payment to Extender, subject to regulatory approval and at the company’s option, will be in common shares of Spirit Lake valued at 50 cents per share.
