A $60-million public offering of 7.5 million Sherritt Gordon (TSE) units closed recently. The units, consisting of one common share plus one-half a warrant, were sold on a bought deal basis for $8 each to a syndicate of investment dealers. Sherritt realized net proceeds of $7.68 per unit on the sale.
