NEWS ROUNDUP — Pioneer awaits freeze-up in Saskatchewan

Pioneer Metals (PSM-T) will begin an $800,000 exploration program for uranium in northern Saskatchewan as soon as Riou Lake freezes.

Work will include a ground geophysical survey and a 4,000-metre drill program in six holes. Drilling will test a target identified through previous geophysical surveys near a zone of hydrothermal alteration, as well as several highly fractured structures suspected of bearing hydrothermal alteration.
