NEWS ROUNDUP — Nuinsco expands near Lac Rocher

Etobicoke, Ont.-based Nuinsco Resources (NWI-T) has acquired more ground around its Lac Rocher prospect in northwestern Quebec.

The nickel explorer has bought three prospectors’ interests in 235 claims adjoining the company’s existing claim group, bringing its total number of claims to 438, encompassing 7,009 ha.

Nuinsco is acquiring a 100% interest in the new claims for $60,000 in cash plus 100,000 Nuinsco treasury shares, subject to a royalty interest of 50 cents per ton for all minerals mined and milled. The new properties will be incorporated into an earlier exploration agreement with the same prospectors.
