Toronto-listed Northgate Exploration has settled a class action suit filed in the U.S. in 1991.
The corporation, along with four of its senior officers, was named in the suit, which alleged violations of the Securities and Exchange Act of 1934 relating to disclosure concerning the Colomac mine (now operated by Toronto-listed Royal Oak Mines).
As part of the settlement, Northgate will issue 750,000 common shares.
