NEWS ROUNDUP — Nora exploring Ghana concession

Partners Nora Exploration (ME) and Consolidated Manus Industries (VSE) have begun field work on their Kade diamond and gold concession in Ghana, West Africa.

The property comprises 41.55 sq. km in the heart of the Birim River diamond field, 125 km northeast of Accra.

Previous exploration on part of the property outlined inferred reserves of 560,000 cubic metres of mineralized gravels grading 0.92 carats of diamonds and 0.62 grams gold per cubic metre.

The first phase of the new program will consist of checking earlier results and upgrading reserves.

Nora and Manus each hold a 45% interest, with the government of Ghana holding the balance.
