NEWS ROUNDUP — Nevada Pacific works Carlin

Drilling by Nevada Pacific Gold (NPG-V) at its South Carlin property in Nevada has confirmed the presence of a large hydrothermal system.

Partial assays from the 3-hole, 6,480-ft. program show elevated gold, arsenic, mercury, barium and antimony values.

Geologists believe the drilling encountered the alteration envelope related to a gold deposit.

Nevada Pacific plans to deepen existing holes with core drilling.
