NEWS ROUNDUP — Moss drilling Duval-Boudreault

A second phase of exploration is about to begin at the Duval-Boudreault copper-gold-silver property near Val d’Or, Que.

Moss Resources (MRS-T) recently completed 20 holes totalling 1,505 metres to test eight geophysical anomalies. Ten were drilled on the C zone over a strike length of 25 metres and vertical depths of 25-50 metres.

Among the better results from the latest five holes are: 12 metres grading 0.96% copper, plus 6.3 grams silver and 0.22 gram gold per tonne (which includes 8.3 metres of 1.14% copper, 7.3 grams silver and 0.23 gram gold); 5 metres of 0.91% copper, 6.6 grams silver and 0.36 gram gold; and 5.7 metres of 0.7% copper, 4.6 grams silver and 0.22 gram gold. Several other holes returned narrower intervals, with copper values ranging from 0.4% to more than 1% and silver values ranging from 3.4 to 16.3 grams.

The next phase of work will include mapping, prospecting and deep electromagnetics over the C zone to locate areas of thicker and more massive sulphides at depths exceeding 500 metres. Drilling will then test this zone and other anomalies at depth.
