Potash producers in Saskatchewan are selling 800,000 tonnes of their product to China.
The sale by Canpotex, the producers’ offshore sales agency, is the single largest order ever sent to China and will be delivered over a period extending to the end of April, 1995.
Potash Corp. of Saskatchewan (TSE), which supplies Canpotex with about 60% of its product, says the sale was completed at levels that were up $4.50 from first-half (1994) contract prices.
