NEWS ROUNDUP — Junior expands strike of Copper Pond

Prospecting and mapping by Copper Hill (CUHL-C) have extended by 1.5 km the strike length of a massive sulphide zone on its Copper Pond property in Labrador.

The 1998 program of geophysical surveys and geochemical sampling evaluated the area surrounding a gossan ridge that overlies massive and semi-massive sulphides containing anomalous base and platinum group metal occurrences. Work by the company this year included channel sampling, results from which have yet to be received.
