NEWS ROUNDUP — International Prism in Yukon

With the Yukon purportedly “open for business,” International Prism Explorations (VSE) intends to acquire a 48-claim block at Dolores Creek.

To do so, according to a signed letter of intent, it must spend $1.75 million over four years and pay the vendors $15,000 plus 200,000 shares. International Prism plans shortly to begin a field program to determine drill targets on the claims, which contain more than a dozen known occurrences of copper and cobalt mineralization.

The Yukon government has recently launched an advertising campaign to attract mineral explorers to the territory. An example is an open letter from Economic Development Minister John Devries which appeared in the July 5 issue of The Northern Miner.
