By acquiring four new permits, partners Golden Regent Resources (GRR-A) and Profile Resources (PFI-A) have expanded their holdings in the Republic of Slovakia.
Golden Regent, which now operates 14 permits in Slovakia, is focusing on areas with known gold mineralization or intense silicification. Chip samples from one of the new permits returned up to 4.5 grams gold per tonne.
The company says exploration to date shows Slovakia has the potential to host large reserves of disseminated gold.
