Drilling on the Midway project near Rock Creek, B.C., has returned an 11-ft. intersection averaging 1.52 oz. gold per ton.
Privately owned Phoenix Resources and Sway Resources (VSE) have earned a 51% interest in the property from Gold City Resources (ASE) by spending a total of $102,000 and paying $50,000.
The drill hole is about 65 ft. south of a 1990 rotary discovery hole that returned 20 ft. grading 0.25 oz. The gold zone is associated with a pyrite-bearing, tectonic matrix supported breccia. The orientation of the breccia has not yet been determined.
