NEWS ROUNDUP — Gold at Slaven Canyon

Several gold intersections are reported from the Slaven Canyon property on Nevada’s Battle Mountain trend.

Thirteen shallow holes were drilled to test a strong geochemical anomaly, and 11 of these intersected mineralization grading greater than 0.01 oz. gold per ton. Values range up to 25 ft. grading 0.047 oz. The mineralization remains open.

The property is owned by Equinox Resources (TSE) while Uranerz U.S.A. has an option to earn a 70% interest.

Takla Star Resources (VSE), which is earning a 40% interest in the property from Uranerz, funded the recent drilling. More is planned in early 1994.
