Having completed a drilling program at its property in Ivory Coast, Eden Roc Mineral (TSE) has surpassed its 1994 gold reserve projection of 1.4 million oz.
By the end of 1994, Eden Roc had oxide reserves of 4.4 million tons averaging 2.9 grams gold per tonne, and sulphide reserves of 6.3 million tonnes averaging 5.1 grams. Combined, the total contained reserves amount to 1.4 million oz. (45.2 million grams).
Five drills have resumed operation following a 2-week break, and management is confident it will not only meet, but exceed, the 1995 reserve target of 2.5 million oz. (or more than 75 million grams).
