NEWS ROUNDUP — Dynacor to explore James Bay play

Junior Dynacor Mines (ME) plans to undertake a second phase of exploration on its Sakami polymetallic project in the James Bay area of northern Quebec.

The 50-sq.-km property contains a uranium deposit where previous drilling by Inco (TSE) and James Bay Development in the 1970s outlined reserves of 8.5 million tons grading 0.052% uranium.

Last summer, preliminary work by Dynacor delineated several zones containing anomalous values in gold, nickel, cobalt, arsenic, chromium and rare earth elements.
