Drilling has started on Canmine Resources’ (CDN) FER property near Flin Flon, Man.
The first hole of the program will be drilled vertically to a depth of 2,000 ft. The work will test electromagnetic anomalies previously outlined by electromagnetic surveys. The anomalies are on the interpreted nose of a plunging syncline known to host massive sulphides.
The FER zone, which is believed to be on one of the syncline’s limbs, has geological reserves of 1.7 million tonnes averaging 3.21% zinc, 0.61% copper, 0.34% lead, 14 grams silver and 0.9 grams gold per tonne.
