Three holes, drilled on 100-metre centers, have been completed on Canmine Resources’ (ASE) Fer base metal property in northern Manitoba. A fourth, 100-metre stepout hole is under way.
The three holes intersected massive sulphide mineralization, consisting of coarse pyrite with sphalerite and chalcopyrite. The first hole returned 7.42% zinc, 0.75% copper, 0.23% lead, and 27.4 grams silver and 0.28 grams gold per tonne over a true width of 3.2 metres. Assay results from the second and third holes are pending.
Significant alteration zones have also been intersected.
