A gravity survey and 6,600 ft. of drilling will be carried out in January, 1993, by Canmine Resources (CDN) on its 100% owned Fer polymetallic property near Flin Flon, Man.
The program will be financed under the Manitoba Mineral Exploration Incentive Program (MEIP), subject to final approvals expected shortly from the Manitoba Government. MEIP will allow Canadian investors to subscribe for up to $205,440 worth of Canmine shares from an offering by the company. Investors under this program will receive a 25% cash grant from the Manitoba government upon completion of the program as well as a 100% Canadian Exploration Expense deduction.
In 1992, the company focused its exploration efforts on two mineralized zones, the Fer and Yak zones, situated two miles apart. The best drill intersection was from the Fer zone, where a 9.2-ft. interval graded 5.53% zinc and 1.28% copper.
