NEWS ROUNDUP — Cambiex begins drill program

Two drills are active on the Dunraine property, 19 km east of Val d’Or, Que., Cambiex Exploration (ME) reports. The work includes 14,000 metres of deep drilling.

Two drills are also active at the Philibert gold property, about 50 km southwest of Chibougamau, Que. A 14,000-metre surface drilling program is planned at the property, where preliminary reserves of 1.5 million tons grading 0.15 oz. gold per ton are estimated.

The company, which recently raised $5 million from a share offering, is performing surface work on three other properties.
