Copper-gold mineralization has been intersected on Big Valley Resources’ (ASE) Lloyd-Nordik property near Likely, B.C.
Hole 94-04 contained a 186.3-metre interval grading 0.31% copper and 0.005 oz. gold per ton, which included a 10-metre section grading 2.22% copper and 0.022 oz. gold.
The mineralization, consisting of pyrite and chalcopyrite, occurs in altered monzonite and volcanic rocks. Most of it exists in fine fractures and disseminations, although breccia-style mineralization has been noted at depth.
