Copper-zinc producer Bethlehem Resources (TSE) recently started a limited drilling program at its Rain property in the hopes of finding additional mill feed for its 50% owned Goldstream mine near Revelstoke, B.C.
The property is located to the south of the Goldstream mine where Bethlehem and partner Goldnev Resources (VSE) produce about three million lb. copper and 400,000 lb. zinc per month.
Patrick McAndless, vice-president of exploration, said the single-hole program will test coincident strong copper and zinc soil anomalies in an area of favorable geology similar to that seen at the Goldstream. McAndless said the program may be expanded depending on results. The company also stated that previously reported discussions with a company interested in taking over Bethlehem have been suspended.
