Toronto-based Beaufield Consolidated Resources (VSE) has acquired a 75% interest in three properties near the Freewest Resources (ME) gold discovery in Benoit Twp., Que.
Beaufield acquired the three claim groups totalling 117 claims in Wilson, Verneuil, and Ralleau twps. in exchange for a cash payment of $13,000 and issuance of 100,000 shares.
The 87-claim Ralleau property covers several coincident airborne magnetic and electromagnetic geophysical anomalies, two of which coincide with known copper anomalies.
The Wilson and Verneuil properties lie immediately west of Ralleau twp. and cover northeast trending airborne geophysical anomalies. The transaction is subject to regulatory approval.
