NEWS ROUNDUP — Beauchamps uncovers new gold zones

Two new quartz-bearing gold zones have been discovered by Beauchamps Exploration (VSE) on its 30-claim property in Verneuil Twp. in northwestern Quebec.

Grab samples from one zone, 800 ft. long and 20-40 ft. wide, have returned assays up to 0.15 oz. gold per ton, with anomalous copper and molybdenum values. Samples from a second zone, 1,000 feet to the west, have returned values up to 0.89 oz. gold, 13 oz. silver and 14% copper.

Encouraged by these results, the company has staked an additional 41 contiguous claims. A program of linecutting, geophysics, power stripping and sampling is under way on the new claims. Once this program is completed, several favorable zones on the property will be drill tested. The Beauchamps claims are adjacent to and along strike from the Freewest Resources (TSE) property where several other gold discoveries have recently been made.
