Surface work, including linecutting and trenching has been completed at the Veneuil Twp. gold property in northwestern Quebec, Beauchamps Exploration (VSE) reports.
The company says a new zone 1.5 miles west of the original discoveries was uncovered. Sampling revealed values up to 0.27 oz. gold per ton. To the east, stripping revealed three gold-bearing quartz stringers, the company says. Beauchamps says a drilling program is anticipated to test these targets.
