Underwriters Richardson Greenshields of Canada and Wood Gundy have agreed to sell five million shares of Aur Resources (TSE) at $5.60 per share.
Teck (TSE) and Cominco (TSE), which hold a pre-emptive right to maintain their existing 20.5% shareholding in Aur, have indicated they intend to exercise this right and, in accordance, will buy more than one million of the shares being sold.
Proceeds will contribute to working capital.
