Toronto-listed Adex Mining will carry out advanced exploration of its Potts Falls gold project in Guyana.
Auger and diamond drilling, as well as trenching, will be performed to follow up the results of a first phase of work. That program consisted of geological mapping, prospecting and soil geochemical and geophysical surveys. The soil sampling defined three anomalous areas, the largest of which is 3 km long and 200-500 metres wide. A second area correlates with the past-producing Potts Falls mine, and the third coincides with a porphyry-hosted stockwork vein system.
