U.S. uranium exchange company Nuexco reports that the exchange value of uranium (U/c3h/O/c8h/) fell in October to its lowest level ever in constant 1990 dollars, slipping US$1.75 to US$8.35 per lb. The 17% price drop was the largest percentage decline in the exchange’s history. The uranium price, in decline for several years, staged a brief rally earlier this year which saw the price top US$11 per lb.
