News in Brief (September 14, 1987)

Dasher Resources reports sale by way of a private placement of 1,500,000 of its units at 30 cents a unit, with each unit consisting of one common share and one non- transferable share purchase warrant. Each warrant entitles the holder to purchase one additional common share at 35 cents a share until Aug 31, 1989.

International Flyer Resources has changed its name to Spectair Industries Inc. (spa:vse) on a share- for-share basis.

Nahanni Mines, which controls 10 exploration properties in the Timmins-Kirkland Lake, Ont., area, has optioned two of these claim blocks to Moneta Porcupine Mines. Moneta must spend $1 million on exploration in order to earn a 50% interest in the Michaud Twp., claims.

An option has also been granted to affiliate company Redstone Resources to earn a 20% interest in Nahanni’s Quyta prospect in northwestern Ontario.

Copconda-York Resources Inc. has changed its name to Pacvest Capital Inc. (pvc:vse) on a 1-new-for- 4-old share basis.

Galilean Resources Corp. has changed its name to New Fibers International Ltd. (nfb:vse) on a 1-new-for-2-old share basis.

Rampart Resources has changed its name to Trans Rampart Industries Ltd. (tps:vse) on a 1-new- for-3-old share basis.
