News in Brief (October 12, 1987)

Allure Resources Corp. has changed its name to Allure Industries Corp. on a share-for-share basis. There is no change of symbol.

Newpass Resources has changed its name to First Class Entertainment and Filmworks Corp. (fce:ase) on the basis of one new for 10 old shares.

New Kenrell Resources has changed its name to International Broadcasting Centre (ibc:vse) on a share-for-share basis.

Controlling interest of Wilanour Resources was recently sold by American Barrick Resources. Half (1,145,182 shares) of Barrick’s 67% control block of shares was acquired on behalf of Inco Gold, a unit of Inco Ltd., while the remaining 1,145,181 shares were acquired by Robert H. Fasken. Wilanour has plans to become active in the Red Lake area of northwestern Ontario.
