Unicorn Resources has changed its name to Pacific Unicorn Resources (PUC:VSE) on a 1-new-for-5-old share basis.

BGR Precious Metals (TSE) said its board of directors has declared a regular quarterly dividend of 25 per Common and Class A share, payable on Jan 27, 1989, to shareholders of record Jan 20, 1989. The ex-dividend date is Jan 16, 1989.

Amir Mines, Bema International Resources and Normine Resources have amalgamated to form Bema Gold Corp. (BGO:TSE). Amir and Bema Int’l. shareholders receive share-for-share; Normine shareholders receive 1-new-for-2-old shares from Yorkshire Trust Company, Vancouver or Canada Trust, Toronto.

Seagull Resources (SGU), Penncan Resources (PEN) and Canadian Platinum Refineries (CPZ) have been delisted from the Alberta Stock Exchange for failure to maintain continued listing requirements.

Ateba Mines (ABA) and Newalta Corp. (NAL) have been delisted from the Alberta Stock Exchange but continue to trade on the Toronto Stock Exchange.

Nor-Acme Gold Mines has amalgamated with High River Resources under the new name of High River Gold Mines Ltd. (HRG:TSE). Shareholders receive 1-new-share-for- 1.2-old shares from Guaranty Trust Company, Vancouver or Toronto.
