Ojibway Resources Ltd. (OJB:ME) has changed its name to Consolidated Ojibway Resources Ltd. (COJ:ME) with a consolidation of capital on a 1-new-for-4-old share basis. The transfer agent is Central Guaranty Trust Co.


Trans Atlantic Resources Inc. (TAT:VSE) has changed its name to Trans Atlantic Enterprises Inc. with a consolidation of capital on a 1-new-for-4-old share basis. The transfer agent is Central Guaranty Trust.


Romex Resources Inc. (RRI:VSE) has changed its name to DRT Resources. Insider TradingInsider Trading


Rio Algom (TSE) has engaged RBC Dominion Securities and the S.G. Warburg Group to solicit offers for Rio’s metals distribution businesses, which operate under the names Atlas Alloys (in Canada), Vincent Metals (in the U.S.) and 60.9% owned Atlas Steels (in Australia and New Zealand). Sales for the businesses in 1990 totalled about $750 million. Rio said it wants to concentrate on its activities in the resources sector.


Malartic Hygrade Gold Mines (Canada) Ltd. (MYC:VSE) has changed its name to Republic Goldfields Inc. (RFG:VSE) on a share-for-share basis.
