Costs of a diamond drilling program near common boundaries between claims held by Newmont Exploration of Canada and Golden Briar Mines will be shared equally, the latter company says.
The properties, located in Estrees Twp., Que., are in the Casa Berardi camp. The companies plan to test several structures crossing the common claim boundary.
Golden Briar is drilling the eastern section of its 24-claim property optioned from Eider Resources. Another 12 adjoining claims are held under option from Caliente Resources. The company has also received conditional approval for the listing of its common shares and warrants on the Montreal Exchange.
